Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS) will hold a live performance, exhibition, and talk! A special collaboration that intersects with art [The Visions from Bouquet]
Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS)'s appearance at MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025 and details of the event have been decided.
As a special collaboration project that combines music, fragrance, art, and talk, "The Visions from Bouquet by MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025" will feature a special live performance, art exhibition, and talk session on the same day.
The live performance, which will take place on a boat stage along the canal, will center around Katayose's first attempt at a piano and saxophone band set, and Izumi Kan (Olfactive Studio Ne), who creates scents, will develop a scent production inspired by Katayose's first solo album, "Bouquet," in which visitors can participate. In addition, in collaboration with the art collective "ARCHIVES," which creates video works using AI, a special video was created for this performance. We will deliver a new performance experience that can be enjoyed with all five senses.
The scents created for this project will be available for pre-sale at the festival venue.
The art exhibition will be held in the special area within the art fair "MEET YOUR ARTISTS -CROSS OVER -" area, and will unravel the album "Bouquet," using Katayose's words as a starting point to develop collaborative projects and exhibitions with multiple contemporary artists.
Furthermore, during the talk session, a traveling version of the program "MEET YOUR ART/THE BASE," hosted by Katayose, will be held on a special public recording stage within the venue, providing a special conversation that can only be heard here.

At this year's MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025, we will be hosting a special collaborative project called "The Visions from Bouquet by MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025," which will combine music, fragrance, art, and talk.
There will be a live performance, an art exhibition unraveling the solo album "Bouquet," and a talk session, all of which I think will provide a deeply meaningful experience.
You will be able to experience Izumi Kan's fragrance, inspired by his album "Bouquet," in a three-dimensional performance, and there will be plenty to see, including a video performance with "ARCHIVES," and I am very excited about it myself.
Like the title "The Visions," my solo activities have revealed the past and present, as well as the future we are heading towards... I would be happy to share these various views. I think you will enjoy the whole day, including the talk session, so please come and spend time with me at the venue.

Ryota Katayose will host a special traveling session of the MEET YOUR ART program series "THE BASE." The theme for this episode is "Past, Present, Future." Tradition and innovation, real and digital, art and society—the present will be explored from a variety of perspectives. Through three sessions, we will explore the current state of art and its future possibilities.
