A live stage curated by "Tribe," a sub-label of Nujabes' Hydeout Productions, has been confirmed for Friday, October 10th!
It has been decided that the live stage on the first day will be curated and held by Tribe, a sub-label of Hydeout Productions, founded by Nujabes.
The live stage will feature four artists carefully selected from Tribe's unique perspective of connecting music and ideas across genres and borders: Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble (DJ SET) / Sonart (Kose Noriko × Ryow aka Smooth Current) feat. Kenichi Fukushima / Tribe Sampler Collective / DJ Quietstorm. They will deliver a genre-crossing, experimental and emotional live performance.
Additionally, this performance will feature a collaborative live performance by Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble, featuring artist Reki Yamaguchi, who designed the cover of the 12-inch record containing Nujabes' classic "Other Side of Phase," and his art collective GOLD WOOD ARTWORKS, titled "Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble DJ SET × Reki Yamaguchi (GOLD WOOD ARTWORKS)." The project's logo and artwork by Yamaguchi will be incorporated into the visual production, creating a one-of-a-kind world where music and visuals intersect.
Additionally, aerial drone footage taken by Sekido Co., Ltd. will be projected multiple times throughout the concert, combining perspectives from the water and the sky to create a three-dimensional, immersive live experience that envelops the entire venue.
These performances are unique to an art festival, and will reconnect the spirit of Hydeout to the modern era on the floating stage "T-LOTUS M" on the Tennozu Canal. The fusion of art and music will create a new space for expression and will mark the opening of MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025.
Admission to and viewing of the entire live stage is free. In addition to this special performance held in a special setting along the canal, please enjoy the diverse content of MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025.
