Born in Kumamoto in 1990. A curator/art manager based in Kyoto.
Since 2016, he has been self-studying exhibition planning, creating spaces where people's values, sensibilities, and thoughts intersect through contemporary art, based on history, sense of the land, and spirituality. In addition to curation, he also supports and coordinates artist production, exhibitions, and project management for domestic and international artists.
Major projects include "Ahead of the Rediscovery Stream" (MYAF 2025 Exhibition, 2025 / Terada Warehouse, Tokyo, co-curated), "Writing Scenery with Harmony" (2025 / Tokyo W ALL alternative), "Paraphrase" (2023 / ROHM Theatre Kyoto), and "Creating Stories Through Harmony" ( 2023 / Kyoto, Zuiunan) and others.
Additionally, he has served as Public Program Manager for KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival (2018–2019), Gallery Director at HAKU KYOTO (2020–2023), Artist Support and Production Coordination for Forest Art Festival: Land of Clear Skies Okayama (2024) and Kobe Rokko Meets Art (2025, 2026), Served as co-curator of Lightseeing Kyoto South (2025–2026), among other roles.

Born in Kumamoto in 1990, Kentaro Watanabe is a curator and art manager based in Kyoto. Since 2016, he has independently organised exhibitions and art projects that explore intersections of history, locality, spirituality, and contemporary art, creating contexts in which diverse values, sensibilities, and ways of thinking can encounter one another. In addition to curatorial practice, he also works in artist support and coordination, including exhibition production, project management, and international collaboration with artists .
His major curatorial projects include "Ahead of the Rediscovery Stream" (MYAF 2025 Exhibition, co-curated, Terrada Warehouse, Tokyo, 2025), "Weaving Landscape s with Harmony” (W ALL alternative, Tokyo, 2025), "Paraphrase" (ROHM Theatre Kyoto, 2023), and "Weaving a Story in Harmony" (Zuiun-an, Kyoto, 2023).
He has also served as Public Program Manager for KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival (2018–2019), Gallery Director of haku kyoto (2020–2023), co-curator of Lightseeing Kyoto South (2025–2026), and has worked on artist support and production coordination for Forest Festival of the Arts Okayama: Clear-skies Country (2024) and KOBE ROKKO MEETS ART (2025).
