ART FAIR - MEET YOUR ARTISTS - サテライト会場「5SENSES」

As a satellite venue of the art fair "MEET YOUR ARTISTS," we will be holding a special exhibition, "5 SENSES," a collaborative project between MEET YOUR ART and Bombay Sapphire.

Based on the theme of "texture and tactility," he has been presenting sculptures using mainly FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) and clay. Since last year, alongside his traditional work using FRP as the main material, he has been working on expressions using unglazed terracotta, using clay used in pottery making as a new material.

Based on Sugawara's own primal experiences, it is an attempt to reconsider the surface nature of sculpture by visualizing the tactile elements of clay and the process by which the work is created.
