Born in Niigata Prefecture in 1988.
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Fine Arts, Painting Major in 2015.
Completed Master's program in Painting (Mural Painting Laboratory II), Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018.
By replacing culturally and religiously significant figures, still lifes, forms, and compositions depicted in Western paintings with familiar friends and objects, altering and concealing their colors and textures, the artist transcends the original form, gender, color, and social status of the models, using them as motifs while simultaneously rendering meaningless the "background" of the work, such as metaphors and contexts. Through the material aspects of "painting," the artist continues to explore the essence of painting.
