鈴木初音

I create artwork using materials obtained through growing plants in my field. I produce graffiti using shell lime mortar and paper works I make myself from the stems of vegetables I plant. By reliving the fact that people have been using materials and processing them to survive since ancient times, I want to approach drawing and making things from the perspective of a creator.

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1995.
Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, Oil Painting Major in 2018.
Completed Master's program in Mural Painting, Department of Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2020.
