The characters, depicted as symbols of the unknown encompassing the future, are sometimes portrayed as fluid beings liberated from specific Identity, blurring the boundaries of nationality, gender, real and virtual, and 2D and 3D.
I am interested in idealized memories of the past and multidimensional worldviews, and I explore through painting the attempt to reinterpret my own life as a new fiction, and the nested, deepening structure of stories.
In the production process, we first create three-dimensional models of the characters and backgrounds based on the image, capture them in a video, and then use a single frame extracted from that video as a preliminary sketch.
I see this multi-stage transformation process as an effective way to consciously distance oneself from the real world and explore oneself in the depths of a fantasy world.
