Takuto Kadokura/22nd Century Jedi was born in Saitama Prefecture and graduated from Musashino Art University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Spatial Design, Fashion Major. While working as a patternmaker at Comme des Garçons, he created necklaces with motifs from his beloved anime, Pretty Cure, and gained attention by posting them on social media as "22nd Century Jedi." After becoming independent, his paintings, published under the name "Takuto Kadokura," explore themes of masculinity, fashion, and ornamentation, using flowers as a motif. Using plants and people with unique shapes as motifs, he fills the canvas with exquisite compositions and color combinations, captivating viewers with an addictive charm. Another representative work is the "Bulletin Board Drawing Series," in which he displays his works on a bulletin board in his home.
