Painter and contemporary artist. Born in Tokyo in 1990, currently residing in Tokyo. Graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Painting Course, College of Art, Nihon University. Starting with manga and anime, which she has been familiar with since childhood, she has been influenced by Japanese internet culture and subculture, and creates paintings themed around the culture surrounding "characters." Particularly with the emergence of social networking services such as Twitter and Pixiv, and video sharing and distribution sites such as YouTube and Niconico Video, she began her creative activities around 2007, and has been actively importing the derivative creative power of "otaku content" into the realm of fine art. Taking the theme of "characters" in an even broader sense, she creates works that show interest not only in "moe characters" that appear in anime and manga, but also in letters and symbols. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, through participation in local art festivals and other activities, she has begun to incorporate motifs such as images from art history, including religious art, landscapes, cities, natural science such as plants, minerals and weather, and images and diagrams from art history and history, aiming for a mixture of images that transcends time and space. In addition to creating her own paintings, she collaborates with artists and creators she has met through the internet, and sometimes even with audience members, to organize numerous group exhibitions.
