Born in 1990. Resides in Mie Prefecture.
After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2016 he graduated from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture.
In the same year, he completed his training at Eiheiji Temple, the head temple of the Soto sect, and became a monk. He will return to secular life in 2024.

Hasegawa earned a masters in sculpture at the same university's Graduate School
of Fine Arts. In the same year, he joined Eiheiji, the head temple of the Soto Zen
