Yuma Nishimura was born in 1995. He graduated from the Department of Design, College of Art, Nihon University in 2018. He is a visual artist, photographer, and graphic designer. He continues to create works based on the concept of preserving the existence of individuals into the future. Influenced by futurists such as Kevin Kelly and Ray Kurzweil, he develops vague visions of the future and the advantages and disadvantages of human progress and technological evolution into everyday scenes through photography. By considering the structure of the exterior and interior, he appeals to viewers to imagine the state of humanity in the future, when humanity is freed from the relationship between mind and body through cloning and AI. He continues to actively present his works, including "Bilateral Reminiscence" at 229 Gallery, a finalist in "KG+SELECT 2023", and the individual jury award at "TOKYO FRONTLINE PHOTO AWARD 2022".
