"ANALOG HOLOGRAPHY" is an experimental installation that explores the phenomenon in which internal structures emerge externally through the interaction of humans, machines, signals, and materials. It is centered around Shimada Tatsuya (stylist/artist), Shimada's work "CL ONE BIBLE," and "SYSTEM MIDI," which is developed in collaboration with Kiuchi Toshifumi (designer/LAID BUG), Komachi Wataru (artist), and Yamaya Yusuke (photographer).
This exhibition views machines as organic entities in the process of evolution, and reconsiders the acid house culture, which has developed around the TB-303, as a sample for observing that evolution.
The original, clones, and modified machines have evolved into distinct entities through repeated replication and mutation.
Humans and machines influence each other through signals, sounds, bodies, and matter. The interference that arises from this connection brings forth structures that could not exist individually, forming new existences.
This exhibition is a device for observing that process.
