My Scenery

「My Scenery」は、日常の情景や色彩、瞬間をテーマに、すずえり・Nico Perez・山口幸士・吉田昌平の4名の作家が参加するグループ展。ファッション領域で活躍するクリエイティブディレクター金子恵治とのコラボレーション企画として開催され、WALL_alternativeの目線とファッション領域でキャリアを構築してきた金子の目線を重ねることで、本企画を通してファッションが好きでもアートに馴染みがなかった方にもアートとの接点やアートの魅力に気付く機会を設計することを目指します。

This group exhibition, “My Scenery,” will be held in collaboration with Keiji Kaneko, a creative director active in the fashion field, and by overlapping WALL_alternative’s perspective with that of Kaneko, who has built a career in the fashion field. The project aims to design opportunities for people who like fashion but are not familiar with art to come into contact with art and discover its charms.

ファッションという世界に身を投じ、ファッション一本で半生を過ごしてきた私に突然転機が訪れる。昨年エイベックス（MEET YOUR ART）さんに機会をいただき、突如アートフェアにキュレーターとして参加することになったのです。会期までに身につけた、出来たてホヤホヤのアート目線とファッション目線を織り交ぜて、自分なりのアートへの解釈が生まれた。アートに触れた事で、狭まっていた視野が広がり、従事するファッションにも無限の可能性があるのだと、考えを改めさせてくれた。今回もお声がけいただき、再びアートの世界に戻ってきました。日常の情景や色彩、瞬間をテーマにしたグループ展「My Scenery」。僕のようにファッションが好きでアートに馴染みがないような方にも不安なくお越しいただけます。アートを知らなくても大丈夫。感じたまま楽しんでいただける展示です。裏活動としては、アートの無限の可能性とファッション（他分野も）を重ね合わせて、未来を創造するキッカケ作り。会場で僕を見つけたら声を掛けてください。お話ししましょう。

Having thrown myself into the world of fashion and having spent half my life as a fashionista, I suddenly faced a turning point. Last year, avex (MEET YOUR ART) gave me an opportunity to participate in an art fair as a curator. Interweaving the freshly developed art perspective and fashion perspective that I had acquired by the time of the fair, I was able to create my own interpretation of art. The stroke of art broadened my narrowed perspective and made me rethink that there are infinite possibilities in the fashion I engage in. Now I returned to the art world once again. “My Scenery” is a group exhibition that focuses on everyday scenes, colors, and moments. Even if you like fashion and are not familiar with art like me, you can come without anxiety. You don’t have to know anything about art. You can enjoy the exhibition as you feel it. As a behind-the-scenes activity, I like to have opportunities to create the future by overlapping the infinite possibilities of art and fashion (and other fields). すずえり Suzueri

本名、鈴木英倫子。東京を拠点に活動。自作楽器や装置による展示や演奏を行う。道具や楽器のインタラクションや身体のずれ、通信技術と即興性などに興味をもち、そこから想起される詩と物語性を問う。
武蔵野美術大学、IAMAS卒業。現在、東京大学大学院情報学環・学際情報学府在籍。サウンド・アーティスト、即興演奏家として国内外で活動し、近年ではメールス・フェスティバル（ドイツ、2024年)、東京ビエンナーレ（2023）、LUFFフェスティバル（スイス、2022年）などに参加。2019年、文化庁新進芸術家海外研修制度研修員としてチリ・バルパライソに滞在、滞在制作作品が文化庁メディア芸術祭アート部門審査委員会推薦作品に選出される。2023年、Asian Cultural Councilの助成によりNYに滞在、Harvestworks Scholarship Artistとして制作、展示を行う。https//suzueri.org

Sound artist and researcher. Based in Tokyo. Exhibits and performs with self-made instruments and devices. Interested in the interaction of tools and instruments, body displacement, communication technology and improvisation, and questions the poetry and narrative evoked from them.
She graduated from Musashino Art University and the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) in Gifu. Currently a member of the Master’s Program of The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, and a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University from 2018 and at the University of Tokyo’s College of Liberal Arts from 2023.
She has worked as a resident artist and improviser both in Japan and abroad, and has recently participated in Moers Festival (Germany, 2024), Tokyo Biennial (2023), Experimental Intermedia (USA, 2023), and LUFF Festival (Switzerland, 2022), In 2019, he will stay in Valparaiso, Chile, under the Agency for Cultural Affairs Overseas Study Program for Emerging Artists, and her residency work was selected as a work recommended by the Jury of the Japan Media Arts Festival Art Division in 2021. In 2023, she was awarded a grant from the Asian Cultural Council to stay in New York City, where she produced and exhibited her work as a Harvestworks Scholarship Artist.

Nico Perez

Photographer & Filmmaker | Creative Direction
1986年、スペイン・マラガで生まれる。幼少期にイギリス・ロンドンに移住し、スペインとイギリスを行き来しながら子ども時代を過ごす。2008年、初めて訪れた東京で、街の「青い」空気感や都市の孤独感にインスピレーションを受ける。 2009年、ロンドンで開催された写真家・川内倫子氏のワークショップのメンバーに選ばれ、写真家になることを決意し、東京に移住。2015年、初の写真集『Momentary』を発売し、同時に個展を開催。以降、個展「Stills from life」(16)、「Kingsland Road」(18)、「Chasing Blue」(19)、「離れる|Take Off」(21), 「Havana, Cuba “The Reprint”」(21), 「Let me be what I want to be」(22) を開催する。現在は東京を拠点に活動中。

Photographer & Filmmaker | Creative Direction
Born in 1986 in Málaga, Spain. Moved to London, England and spent his childhood traveling back and forth between Spain and the U.K. In 2008, on his first visit to Tokyo. He was inspired by the “blue” atmosphere of the city and the loneliness of the city. In 2009, he was selected as a member of photographer Rinko Kawauchi’s workshop in London, and decided to become a photographer, moving to Tokyo. In 2015, his first photo book “Momentary” was released and first solo exhibition was held at the same time. Since then, he has had solo exhibitions “Stills from life”(2016), “Kingsland Road”(2018), “Chasing Blue”(2019), “Leaving|Take Off”(2021), “Havana, Cuba ‘The Reprint'” (2021), “Let me be what I want to be” (2022). Currently lives and works in Tokyo.

山口幸士 Koji Yamaguchi

神奈川県川崎市出身
街を遊び場とするスケートボードの柔軟な視点に強く影響を受け、日常の風景や身近にあるオブジェクトをモチーフにペインティング、ドローイング、コラージュなどさまざまな手法を用いて独特な視点に転換する。
2015年から3年間、ニューヨークでの活動を経て現在は東京を中心に活動している。

Born in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
Strongly influenced by the flexible perspective of skateboarding, in which the city is the playground, he transforms everyday scenery and familiar objects into a unique perspective using various techniques such as painting, drawing, and collage.
After his three years stay in New York from 2015, he currently lives and works in Tokyo.

吉田昌平 Shohei Yoshida

1985年生まれ。広島県出身。 桑沢デザイン研究所卒業後、デザイン事務所 株式会社ナカムラグラフを経て、2016年 白い立体として独立。雑誌・書籍のデザインや展覧会ビジュアルのアートディレクションなどを中心に活動。 その他に、紙や本を主な素材としたコラージュ作品を数多く制作・発表する。作品集に 『KASABUTA』（WALL 2013年）、『Shinjuku（Collage）』（numabooks 2017年）、『Trans-Siberian Railway』（白い立体 2021年）。

Born in 1985. Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. After graduating from Kuwasawa Design School, worked at the design office Nakamura Graph Co. He established his design office “Shiroi-Rittai” His main activities include magazine and book design and art direction for exhibition visuals. In addition, he has created and exhibited many collage works using paper and books as main materials. His publications include “KASABUTA” (WALL 2013), “Shinjuku (Collage)” (numabooks 2017), and “Trans-Siberian Railway” (white 3D 2021).

【金子恵治 (Keiji Kaneko)について】

1995年にベイクルーズに入社。セレクトショップEDIFICEのバイイングに携わる。
2005年に同社を退職、CHRISTOPHE LEMAIREの立ち上げ、THE POOL AOYAMAショップオープンのプロジェクトに参画。2015年には青山のセレクトショップL’ECHOPPEを立ち上げる。
ディレクションとバイイングに携わり多くのデザイナー、様々なブランドとコラボレーション企画を行い、同ショップのエクスクルーシブ商品の開発を牽引。
2022年6月に株式会社フェアズフェアを設立。
現在はメンズ、ウィメンズを横断し、様々なブランド、ショップのディレクションを手掛ける。
昨年、外苑前に自社運営のBOUTIQUEをオープン。

He Joined BAYCREW’S in 1995. He was involved in buying for the select store EDIFICE.
In 2005, he left the company, launched CHRISTOPHE LEMAIRE, and participated in the project of THE POOL AOYAMA, and in 2015, launched L’ECHOPPE, a select store in Aoyama.
Involved in direction and buying, he has collaborated with many designers and various brands, and led the development of exclusive products for the store.
In June 2022, he established Fair’s Fair Co.
Currently, he is involved in the direction of various brands and stores across men’s and women’s fashion.
Last year, he opened his own BOUTIQUE in Gaienmae.
