高尾岳央個展「Panorama」

高尾岳央は、現代における風景画を追求し、文字や記号、写真、建物などをモチーフにしながら、時間によって移り変わる風景を1枚の絵の中に表現するアーティストです。
その表現の原体験には車窓からの風景があるといいます。
本展では、京都を拠点に活動を行う高尾自身が目にした風景から、たびたび訪れる東京の都市の風景まで、高尾が作家として日常を過ごす中で目前と思考の中に現れるPanorama（広大な風景）を高尾なりのアプローチで複層的に表現し、多面的に展示することを試みます。
また、本展は、高尾が大学院を卒業後初となる個展であり、今までの作品を俯瞰するように新シリーズを含めた作品を展示するとともに、WALL_alternativeの7mの壁面を中心に空間特性を活かした形で展示を構成します。
一貫したテーマを持ちながらも常に進化を続ける作品の変遷を総観するとともに、風景の中に描かれる時間軸を感じていただけると幸いです。

Takehiro Takao is an artist who pursues landscape painting at the present time, using letters, symbols, photographs, and buildings as motifs to express the ever-changing scenery in a single painting.

He says that his experience comes from the scenery from the view from train window as the original experience.

In this exhibition, Takao will attempt to present in multifaceted and multifaceted way, the panorama that appears before his eyes and in his thoughts as he goes about his daily life as an artist, from the landscapes of Kyoto he has seen daily to the urban landscapes of Tokyo he visits occasionally.

This exhibition is Takao’s first solo show since he finished his master’s degree, includes new series of works and past works, will be composed in a way of using characteristics space of WALL_alternative.

We hope that visitors will be able to get a general view of the transition of his expression, which having consistent theme but constantly evolving, as well as feel the “timescape” depicted in the landscapes.

高尾岳央「Multi perspective painting」

現代における絵画を試行する。画面に触れることなく絵の具を定着させ、途切れることなく線を引き続けることが可能なエアブラシを描画道具などに用いる。都市の記号である文字、建築、景色などをモチーフに用い、複数の時間と視点を持った流動的な絵画空間を構築する。

The artist will experiment the painting at the present time. He uses an airbrush as a drawing tool, which allows him to apply paint without touching canvas and to continue drawing lines without interruption. Using urban symbols such as letters, architecture, and landscapes as motifs, he constructs fluid pictorial space with multiple times and perspectives.
