Ami debuted after joining dream (currently Dream) in 2002. Since 2011, she became one of the main members of E-girls, the girl’s entertainment project. She debuted as a solo artist from E-girls for the first time with the single “Dress o nuida Cinderella “ in 2015.  She is also a TV host and radio personality. She sung “Try Everything,” the Japanese version of the theme song from the Disney movie “Zootopia” last year. She is the voice of the character Gazelle in the movie as well. In June 2017, she announced that she would leave E-girls to become a solo artist. Her first original album “Re: Dream” will be released and her solo tour will be held this fall.
