1965年バンコク生まれ。1995年より制作活動を行っているタイのパフォーマンスアーティスト。
「blurborders International Performance Art eXchange」のディレクターを務め、オルタナティブなアート実践を通して社会的・政治的な課題を検証する。
これまでにドイツ、ポーランド、アメリカ、カナダ、メキシコ、中国、日本など世界各地のフェスティバルに招かれパフォーマンスを行っている。2022年にはバンコク芸術文化センターで開催されたバンコク・アート・ビエンナーレに参加し、写真・ビデオ・ライブパフォーマンスを発表。
身体や象徴的なオブジェクトを取り入れ、社会的なカオス、政治問題、世の中の内面的な変化を表現している。詩的かつ挑発的なアプローチで、個人の体験と公共との関わりを行き来し、時代・空間・社会の変化を映し出す芸術活動を行っている。
(born 1965, Bangkok) is a Thai performance artist active since 1995. He is the director of blurborders International Performance Art eXchange and is known for engaging with social and political issues through alternative art practices. Over nearly three decades, he has been invited to perform at festivals across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, including in countries such as Germany, Poland, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, China, Japan, and more. In 2022, he participated in the Bangkok Art Biennale at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, presenting photo, video, and live performance works. Mongkol's performances use his body and symbolic objects to reflect on social chaos, political tension, and inner transformation. His work blends poetics and provocation, shifting between personal experience and public interaction— mirroring the changing conditions of time, space, and society.
