LEE YUEH CHEN

2021年多摩美術大学絵画学科油画専攻卒業
彼は日常風景の中にある物を観察する習慣を持っている。自らの体を信号官として
身周りの人工 製品や大量生産品を再解釈し、色彩、形、表情などといった要素を
油彩の表現でその物に対する 愛着に視覚的・情緒的な形を与える。物の個性を見
つけ出すため、本能的でありながら意識的に 油で破壊したり再構築したりする実
験を繰り返し、最終形に至るまで磨き続ける工程は彼の制作 の基盤となってる。

Lee has a habit of observing objects in everyday landscapes. He reinterprets
the surrounding artificial and mass-produced items as a signalman, giving
them visual and emotional attachment through elements such as color,
shape, and expression in oil painting. To discover the personality of objects,
he instinctively yet consciously experiments with destroying or
reconstructing the canvas with oil, repeating the process until reaching the
final form of the artwork, which forms the foundation of his creation.
