天然素材を利用した機能的なアートを作成している米国生まれのアーティストだ。制作者と作品の使用者との間の目に見えないつながりや間接的なコミュニケーションを探求することに非常に興味がある。人間にとって陶芸の遍在性、どのように結びつけるかを表現し、創造的な実践で国際交流を促進したいと考えている。

Kami Waller is a Black American ceramicist who creates functional art using natural materials. They are interested in using craft and material as a vehicle for exploring communication, connection, and consumption, examining creation as an act of service and an act of expression, and examining the unifying nature of universally used natural materials such as clay. They hope to express the ubiquity of ceramics to humans, how we connect with them, and promote international exchange through creative practice.
