Our new song "Roar" has been chosen as the ending theme for the sixth season of TV anime "Kingdom" which will be broadcast on NHK General TV!

This work is a TV anime adaptation of the manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara, which is currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (SHUEISHA).
The original manga series has sold over 110 million copies in total, and in 2024, the fourth live-action film in the series, "Kingdom: The Return of the Great General," was released, becoming a huge hit with box office revenue of 8 billion yen.
The story is a grand historical romance set in ancient China during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, depicting the exploits of Shin (CV: Masakazu Morita), a young boy aiming to become a great general, and Ying Zheng (CV: Jun Fukuyama), the young king who would later become the First Emperor of China.
TV anime has so far aired its first series (June 2012 to February 2013 on NHK BS Premium), second series (June 2013 to March 2014), third series (April to October 2021), fourth series (April to October 2022), and fifth series (January to March 2024). The sixth series will begin airing on NHK General in October 2025!
The first official trailer for the sixth season of TV anime "Kingdom" has been released. In this season, Shin will finally set out, carrying the spear of "Ouki" on his back. Ouki is a hero who has etched his name in history and a great general feared throughout all of China. He is the one who named the "Hi Shin Unit" and showed Shin the path to becoming a "great general of the world" that he aims for. After a fierce battle with the "God of War" Houken at Bayou, he entrusted his spear to Shin just before his death, passing on his dreams and aspirations to the next generation.
Eight years later, having fought alongside his comrades on numerous battlefields and grown as a warrior, Shin resolves to take up Ouki's spear and engage in all-out war against Zhao.

To express this passion, the sound of armor scraping, shouting, and even roaring were recorded from scratch.
The lyrics of the song also contain a device that evokes the historical background and the world of the story.

Series 6: Synopsis
B.C., Qin Dynasty in western China. Shin, a former servant who aspires to become "the greatest general under heaven," shares the same aspirations as King Qin Eisei, who wishes to end the turbulent era by "unifying China," which no one has ever achieved.
Meanwhile, Yeisei regains control of the country from his political rival Lu Biwei, and with the cooperation of military commander Chang Heiqun and jurist Li Si, he begins to work toward the unification of China and the establishment of a new "nation governed by the rule of law.
The Qin army plans to invade the western part of Zhao state from its new stronghold of Black Sheep Hill. However, the plan is thwarted by the strategy of Li Moku, a brilliant military strategist of Zhao State, who sees the unification of China by Qin State as a danger and quickly takes countermeasures.
In response, Changping proposed a devious plan to attack Giao, a city near Handan, the capital of Zhao.
To oppose Yi Moku, an allied force was formed with three armies led by Wangsun, a brilliant military strategist, Hwanki, and Yang Danhwa.
In addition, a new generation of highly promising soldiers, Shin "Feishintai," Meng Teng's "Gakka-tai," and Wang Pyeon's "Gyokbong-tai," joined them as independent armies.
