Musician and sound artist. He is the founder of "See by Your Ears".
He develops installations that open up the potential of the sense of hearing through his unique "spatial composition" that weaves sounds within the unique resonance of a particular place, making full use of a three-dimensional sound system that does not rely on existing formats. In 2025, he received the Ars Electronica 2025 Isao Tomita Special Prize for his pioneering exploration of spatial acoustic art and for expanding the possibilities of sound art. In 2026, he received the 76th Art Encouragement Prize for New Artists from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
His major solo exhibitions include "evala: Appearing Field, Vanishing Image" (NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC], 2024). He has also exhibited his original and invisible works at Yoro Tenmei Reversal Site, Yakushiji World Heritage Site, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, Towada Museum of Contemporary Art, Sonar (Spain), SXSW (USA), National Asian Cultural Hall of Fame (Korea), EN NOVA ART Museum (China), and other venues.
