山内祥太は1992年、岐阜県生まれ、神奈川県を拠点に活動。2014年に金沢美術工芸大学彫刻専攻を卒業し、2016年に東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科メディア映像専攻を修了。映像と立体を組み合わせたインスタレーションを中心に、パフォーマンスや香りなどのメディアを横断しながら制作している。自己と世界の関係性、また現実と神秘的なものとの境界を探求している。

「In Between...Us?」はシビック・クリエイティブ・ベース東京［CCBT］の2025年度アート・インキュベーション・プログラムのアーティスト・フェロー活動の一環として制作されました。
シビック・クリエイティブ・ベース東京［CCBT］は、アートとデジタルテクノロジーを通じて人々の創造性を社会に発揮するための活動拠点です。
CCBTのコアプログラムのひとつ「アート・インキュベーション」は、クリエイターに新たな創作活動の機会を提供し、そのプロセスを市民（シビック）に開放することで、都市をより良く変える表現・探求・アクションの創造を目指すプログラムです。毎年公募・選考によって選ばれる5組のクリエイターは、「CCBTアーティスト・フェロー」として、企画の具体化と発表、創作過程の公開やワークショップ等を実施し、CCBTのパートナーとして活動しています。

Shota Yamauchi was born in Gifu, Japan, in 1992, and lives and works in Kanagawa. He received his undergraduate degree in Sculpture from Kanazawa College of Art in 2014, and completed his master’s degree in Video and Media Art at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2016.
His practice primarily centers on installations that combine video and three-dimensional forms, while also working across media such as performance and scent. Through his work, he explores the relationship between the self and the world, as well as the boundary between reality and the mystical.
