2018년에 미국 라벨 Deathbomb Arc와 계약을 발표하고, 2019년 3월에 데뷔 앨범 「Dos City」를 릴리스. 이후 국내외를 불문하고 다양한 이벤트 / 페스티벌에 출연하고 주최 이벤트 "Theater D"에서 일본 음악계의 이단 존재로 장면에 그 확고한 지위를 구축한다.
UK의 록 밴드 black midi와 US의 HIP HOP 승무원, Injury Reserve 등의 뮤지션에 그치지 않고 대만의 IT 담당 장관 오드리 탄, 작가 츠츠이 야스 타카, 만화가 하야시 타구 등 장르를 넘은 콜라보레이션을 전개. 또 2021년에는, 영상 디렉터·가미데 요헤이와 TV TOKYO의 정파대를 잭한 프로그램 “뚜껑”을 공동 기획해, 연동하는 형태로 앨범 “Larderello”를 발표하는 등 작품의 새로운 펼치는 방법에도 주력. 그 밖에도 싱글 '왕묘'가 'DOCUMENTAL Season10'의 OP곡으로 기용되는 등 폭넓은 활동을 보인다.
2022년 10월부터 black midi와의 유럽 투어, 그리고 2023년 여름부터의 단독 유럽 투어를 성공시켜 온 도중에 갑자기 제1기의 활동 종료를 보고해, 2024년부터 새롭게 제2기의 Dos Monos로서 활동을 스타트. 2024년 완전 밴드 편성에 의한 앨범 'Dos Atomos', 그리고 2025년 공포 만화계의 거장 Ito 준지가 재킷을 다룬 EP 'Dos Moons'를 발표했다.

In 2018, they announced their signing with US label Deathbomb Arc, and in March 2019, they released their debut album "Dos City". Since then, they have established themselves as one of the most unconventional presences in the Korean music festivals, as well as their self-curated event series "Theater D".
In addition to musical collaborations with artists such as UK rock band black midi and US hip hop group Injury Reserve, Dos Monos have engaged in cross-disciplinary projects with figures like Taiwan's Digital Minister Audrey Tang, literary author Yasutaka Tsutsui. co-developed the experimental TV Tokyo broadcast-jamming project "FUTA" with video director Ryohei Kamide, releasing the album "Larderello" as part of the concept.
While in the midst of a successful European tour with black midi in late 2022 and their own headline European tour in summer 2023, the group unexpectedly announced the end of their first phase. From 2024, they began a new chap That year, they released Dos Atomos, an album performed entirely with a live band setup, followed in 2025 by the EP Dos Moons, featuring cover artwork by legendary horror manga artist Junji Ito.
