갈라지는 건축·영상·연극의 전문 영역을 가진 멤버에 의해 구성된 건축 집단. 일상, 건축물의 라이프 사이클, 토지에 뿌리 내리는 역사 등, 다양한 스케일의 시간을 횡단하면서, 건축을 생각하고 있다.
최근의 주요 활동은 아마미 군도의 기계 섬에서의 「100 년에 걸쳐 극장을 만드는 프로젝트」나 「키계 섬 건축 필드 워크」, 후쿠시마 현 토미오카 쵸에서의 「나라티브의 교차점」, KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2023에서의 중간 아야카 “춤터 전설” 세노그래피, 건축을 테마로 영화를 상영하는 영화제 “건축 영화관 2023”, 거점인 Hyogo 오카시에서의 “연극 오두막 쉐어하우스” 등의 고민가나 근대 건축의 개수 등.
Garage - An architectural collective founded in 2020 by architect Hayao Odagiri, filmmaker Kenji Seo, and scenographer Mizuho Watanabe.
Garage expands the embodiment of time and the human body expressed with in architecture through works and projects utilizing videos, festivals, and fieldwork. Without being limited to architecture itself, Garage practices cross-disciplinary designs for architecture and the environment surrounding it.
