야마다 코헤이는 1997년 오사카 출생. 2020년 무사시노 미술 대학 유화학과 유화 전공 졸업, 2022년 교토 예술 대학 석사 과정 미술 공예 영역 유화 전공 수료, 현재는 도쿄를 거점으로 활동.

His solo exhibitions include “Strikethrough” at Taka Ishii Gallery (Tokyo, 2023); “As If to Hide It” at biscuit gallery (Tokyo, 2022); “The Way the Lines Come In” at MtK Contemporary Art and Kyoto (Kyoto, 2022); “road” at the Daikanyama Hillside Terrace Annex-A (Tokyo, 2021). Yamada has participated in group exhibitions such as “Abstraction (re)creation – 20 under 40” at Le Consortium (Dijon, 202) “nine colors XVI” at Seibu Shibuya (Tokyo, 2022), “biscuit gallery Opening Exhibition II” at biscuit gallery (Tokyo, 2021), and “Up_01″ in the GINZA ATRIUM of Ginza Tsutaya Books (Tokyo, 2 well as in “ARTISTS' F AIR KYOTO” in the Museum of Kyoto Annex (Kyoto, 2020 and 2021). He was selected as a finalist for the 1st BUG Art Award (2024) and the Contemporary Art Foundation (CAF) Award (2020 ).
