그는 일상 풍경 속에 있는 것을 관찰하는 습관을 가지고 있다. 자신의 몸을 신호관으로
몸 주위의 인공 제품이나 대량 생산품을 재해석해, 색채, 형태, 표정 등이라고 하는 요소를
유채의 표현으로 그 물건에 대한 애착에 시각적·정서적인 형태를 준다. 물건의 개성을 보
붙이기 위해 본능적이면서 의식적으로 기름으로 파괴하거나 재구성하는 실
실험을 반복하고 최종형에 이르기까지 계속 연마하는 공정은 그의 제작의 기반이 되고 있다.

Lee has a habit of observing objects in everyday landscapes. He reinterprets
the surrounding artificial and mass-produced items as a signalman, giving
them visual and emotional attachment through elements such as color,
shape, and expression in oil pain ting. To discover the personality of objects,
he instinctively yet consciously experiments with destroying or
reconstructing the canvas with oil, repeating the process until reaching the
final form of the artwork, which forms the foundation of his creation.
