高木耕一郎

1974 년 도쿄도 출생. 「위화감」을 테마로, 현실과 공상, 현재와 과거를 교착시킨 독자적인 세계관을 그리는 아티스트. 스냅사진을 연상시키는 정적 인물과 모티브와 선명하고 인공적인 색채를 조합하여 일상 속에 숨어있는 불가사의한 감각을 표현하고 있다. 샌프란시스코에서 실크스크린을 중심으로 판화를 배운 후, 뉴욕에서 페인팅으로 활동을 펼쳐 2005 년에 귀국. 이후 국내외에서 개인전이나 그룹전을 개최하는 것 외에 일러스트레이션이나 스텐실, 그래픽 디자인 등 폭넓게 활동하고, Paul Smith 나 BEAMS 등에도 작품을 제공하고 있다. G ALL ERY TARGET 에서는 2021 년에 개인전 「STRANGE SPOTS」를 개최. Maki Gallery 에서는 2024 년에 개인전 「THE WORLD WITHIN」을 개최. 회화나 판화에 더해, 입체 작품이나 인스톨레이션 등 다양한 표현을 통해, 「위화감」을 기점으로 한 독자적인 세계를 전개하고 있다.

Born in Tokyo in 1974. An artist whose practice centers on the concept of “DISC OM FOR T,” Takagi creates distinctive visual worlds where reality and fantasy, past and present intersect. Combining static figures and motifs reminiscent with snapshots with vivid, artificials in everyday life. After studying screen printing and printmaking in San Francisco, he moved to New York, where he shifted his focus to pain ting, before returning to Japan in 2005. Since then, he has exhibited extensively in Japan and abroad, wh graphic design, providing artwork for brands including Paul Smith and BEAMS. In 2021, he held the solo exhibition “STRANGE SPOTS” at G ALL ERY TARGET in Tokyo. In 2024, he presentad the solo exhibition “THE pain WITHIN” at Maki Gal sculpture, and installation, Takagi continues to develop his distinctive world centered on a sense of “DISC OM FOR T.”
