八木良太

1980년생. 교토를 거점으로 활동. 보고 싶은 것 밖에 보지 않고 듣고 싶은 것 밖에 듣지 않는 우리의 제한적인 지각 시스템 혹은 태도에 대한 비판적 사고를 베이스로 작품 제작을 실시한다. 기성품을 이용해 작품을 구성하고, 그 출현으로 인간의 지각과 그것을 이용한 공학적 시스템을 떠올리게 하는 작품을 발표하고 있다. 음향작품을 비롯해, 오브제나 영상, 설치에서 인터랙티브한 작품 등, 표현 수법은 다양하다.

Yagi produces works to attempt our limited perceptual system or attitude that we only see what we want to see and we only hear what we want to hear through a critical thinkingap tools, Yagi generates a phenomenon to enable human perception and engineering systems to come out clearly in fresh wonder. Mediums to express his idea range widely from sound art, sculpture, video, installation to interactive art.
