우키요에 봄화의 손발에 영감을 받아 '관계'를 테마로 손발의 연결을 통해 세계를 비유적으로 표현한다. 조각, 회화, 드로잉 등 다양한 방법으로 탐구한다.
주요 전시로서, 화랑 미야자카(2005~2024), 다이칸야마 쓰시야 서점(2022), 국가 등록 유형 문화재
구 콘도 저택(2013), 유후인 아트홀(2011) 등에서 개인전을 개최. 또한 동아시아 문화도시-중일한 조각 초대전(2023), 3331 아트 페어(2021년), 아트 페어 도쿄(2016년),
영국에서의 조각전 「Fresh air」(2013년)에 출전. 2018년 6월부터 매월 iichiko(소주)의 잡지 광고에 드로잉이 기용되고 있다.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Design (1999).
MFA in Design, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2001).
Inspired by the limbs seen in Shunga (erotic art form) of Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, Shinichi Kaneko expresses the world metaphorically through the theme of “relations” formed by connected limbs. His practice involves the exploration of various techniques such pain ting, and drawing.
Major solo exhibitions include those held at Gallery Miyasaka (2005~2024), Daikanyama Tsutaya (2022), and at the former Kondo Residence (2013) and Yufuin Art Hall (2011) (registered national tangible cultural properties). exhibitions at East Asia Culture City - China-Japan-Korea Sculpture Invitation al Exhibition (2023), 3331 Art Fair (2021), Art Fair Tokyo (2016), and participated in the sculpture exhibition “Fresh air” (UK). Since June 2018, his drawings have been featured in the monthly iichiko (shochu) magazine advertisements.
