야마우치 쇼타는 1992년 기후현 출생, 가나가와현을 거점으로 활동. 2014년에 가나자와 미술 공예 대학 조각 전공을 졸업하고, 2016년에 도쿄 예술 대학 대학원 영상 연구과 미디어 영상 전공을 수료. 영상과 입체를 조합한 설치를 중심으로 퍼포먼스나 향기 등의 미디어를 횡단하면서 제작하고 있다. 자기와 세계의 관계, 또한 현실과 신비한 것의 경계를 탐구하고 있다.

「In Between...Us?」는 시빅 크리에이티브 베이스 도쿄[CCBT]의 2025년도 아트 인큐베이션 프로그램의 아티스트 펠로우 활동의 일환으로 제작되었습니다.
시빅 크리에이티브 베이스 도쿄[CCBT]는 예술과 디지털 기술을 통해 사람들의 창의성을 사회에 발휘하기 위한 활동 거점입니다.
CCBT의 핵심 프로그램 중 하나인 '아트 인큐베이션'은 크리에이터에게 새로운 창작 활동의 기회를 제공하고 그 프로세스를 시민(시빅)에게 개방함으로써 도시를 보다 잘 바꾸는 표현·탐구·액션의 창조를 목표로 하는 프로그램입니다. 매년 공모·전형에 의해 선택되는 5조의 크리에이터는, 「CCBT 아티스트・페로」로서, 기획의 구체화와 발표, 창작 과정의 공개나 워크숍등을 실시해, CCBT의 파트너로서 활동하고 있습니다.

Shota Yamauchi was born in Gifu, Japan, in 1992, and lives and works in Kanagawa. He received his undergraduate degree in Sculpture from Kanazawa College of Art in 2014, and completed his master's degree in Video and Media Art at the Arts, in 2016.
His practice primarily centers on installations that combine video and three-dimensional forms, while also working across media such as performance and scent. Through his work, he explores the relationship between the self and the world, as well as the boundary bet
