아티스트. 설치, 영상, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 형태로, 감상자의 시선과 동작에 의해 불가시의 존재를 시사하는 작품을 제작. 2016년부터 카미무라 메구미와의 유닛 「유치」로서 퍼포먼스를 실시한다. 2021년부터, 러닝을 기점으로 해, 투어 퍼포먼스와 같은 러닝 이벤트 「and run」을 각지에서 개최. 주요 개인전에 2020년 'Trilogue'(TARO NASU), 주요 전시회에 2025년 '스펙트럼 스펙트럼'(긴자 메종 에르메스), 2021년 '아시아 퍼시픽 트리엔날레'(QAGOMA, 브리즈번) 등. 2013년 도쿄 예술 대학 대학원 영상 연구과에서 박사 학위를 취득. 2019년 ACC의 그랜티로서 뉴욕에 체류. Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2022-2024 수상. 2021년부터 가나자와 미술공예대학 준교수를 거쳐 2025년부터 교토시립예술대학 준교수.

Michiko TSUDA has persistently examined the volatility of human perception—and the glimpse of the richness of illusion s afforded by that volatility—by manipulating our sensations in terms of understanding space and time. Tsuda's works take a varie video implying an invisible presence wavering in response to the appreciator's perspective and behavior. The lecture-performance-like running event follows my own running route, which I started creating in 2023, with the participants. Exhibitions include the solo show " 2020), "Observing Forest" (zarya contemporary art center, Vladivostok, 2017), and the group exhibition “Spektrum Spektrum” (GINZA MAISON HERMÈS, 2025), “ICC Annual 2023: Shapes of Things” (NTT InterCom Triennial” (Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, 2021), "Aichi Triennale 2019" (Ito Residence, 2019). She completed a Doctoral Program in Film and New Media Studies at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo from the Asian Cultural Council(ACC) for a 6-month residency in New York in 2019, received the Tokyo Contemporary Art Award 2022-2024, and now an associate professor at Kyoto City University of Art, Faculty of the Arts from 2025.
