"Normal," which was released digitally on June 10th (Wednesday), is a song about saying goodbye to a loved one and appreciating the preciousness of everyday life that passes by without a second thought.

Illustrator Rurunbu participated in the video production. The resulting visuals, which evoke the gentleness of a picture book and the nostalgia of a film, leave a warm feeling even amidst the sadness.

This time, in order to convey the feelings I put into the song more deeply, I took on the challenge of creating the story and structure myself for the first time.

The music video is set in a shopping district in a ruined world. It tells the story of a dog walking through the district and discovering fragments of memories from days gone by.

The song "Normal" deals not only with the sadness of parting with a loved one, but also with the poignancy of letting go of ordinary days, and the preciousness of those everyday moments.

I aimed to create a story that would resonate with everyone as something universal.

And the person who created that worldview is illustrator Rurunbu. Her gentle, picture-book-like style, combined with a nostalgic feel reminiscent of a film, further expanded the world of the song.

The story juxtaposes the loneliness of reality with vivid memories of the past. Within this contrast, many intricate details are embedded.
