The music video for "Roar," the ending theme for the 6th season TV anime "Kingdom" has been released!

Sora Tomonari|Roar Music Video

- Comment from Tomonari Sora -

What I wanted to portray in "Roar" wasn't the malevolence of battle itself, but rather an energy that seemed to extract pure "power" from it.

When creating the music video, I wanted to preserve the song's grand scale while focusing on more introspective themes such as the "inner struggles" and "conflicts that plague one's beliefs" that everyone faces.

The answer that Manager Osera came up with was "swordsmanship."

Chitose Machi portrays a swordsman who, after years of rigorous training, crosses swords with "another version of himself."

Its poignant beauty breathes new life into this song.

I hope that this song, which was born from a resonance with the worldview of the anime "Kingdom," will reach everyone in a new way through the form of a music video.

- Director: Takumi Osera's comment -

I believe that the spear that has been passed down is not only for piercing the enemy, but also for breaking through one's own doubts and uncertainties.

The roars that echo across the battlefield are proof of a determination to live, and like a flame, will spreads from person to person.

It depicts a struggle within oneself as one tries to keep that flame burning and move forward.
