Scalp D is re-examining the value it delivers through its skincare products, while listening to the voices of its users. What has emerged from user feedback is the comfort of the washing time and the sense of security it provides on a daily basis. To further enhance these feelings, Scalp D is focusing on the daily "washing time" and exploring the possibilities of the experience that fragrance can bring.
Our co-creation partner is Olfactive Studio Ne, headed by Kan Izumi, who engages in creative activities using fragrance. Based on Awaji Island, the studio designs fragrances based on the concept of "fragrances that seem to have been there from the beginning," and together we are contemplating and experimenting with the relationship between fragrance and people's lives.
In this exhibition, you can experience the scents of three components—GROUND, OZ ONE, and SPACE—based on the concept of "SPACY OZ ONE NOTE" developed by Olfactive Studio Ne during the development process.
This exhibition showcases Angfa's ongoing research and development process as they explore the new element of fragrance. Visitors can compare different scents and freely express in words the images, memories, and feelings that come to mind. They can also take home a scent strip (test paper) with the scents they experienced, allowing them to enjoy the lingering impression even after leaving the venue. The aim is to provide each individual with an opportunity to focus on fragrance, to explore its differences, and to connect with their own perceptions.
