MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2026 is less than two weeks away! 🎪
Here are some of the highlights of the art exhibition "REFLUX: Rising Signs".

Artwork, sound, and physical presence resonate together, changing its expression with each visit. This is "REFLUX: Rising Signs," an art exhibition with Mirai Moriyama as artistic director.

With Mirai Moriyama as artistic director and Yama Yoshida and Kentaro Watanabe as curators, this exhibition presents a space where visitors can encounter art not only through sight, but also through various bodily senses such as sound, movement, and presence, through works by Ideal Copy, Dan Isomura, evala, Michiko Tsuda, Osamu Tezuka, Shota Yamauchi, and Ryu Ika.

One million yen worth of 100-yen coins, rhizomes that respond to the environment, soap bubbles floating in space.
Seven artworks and six performers resonate with each other, creating a constantly evolving art exhibition.

Ideal Copy's "Channel: Money" has been updated in 1996 and 2013 in response to the changing circumstances surrounding money. In this exhibition, it will be presented using 1 million yen worth of 100-yen coins. What does the act of exhibiting coins reflect in each era? Through the newly reappearing "Channel: Money," the relationship between money and society, and the changes in our perceptions, will become apparent.

Ryu Ika《Precious promise》

In Shota Yamauchi's "In Between… Us?", white structures reminiscent of tree roots and nerves change their form in response to surrounding sounds, voices, and environmental changes. No two reactions in the venue are the same, creating unpredictable interactions between the artwork and the people present. Dan Isomura presents a video installation in which soap bubbles are released from the sleeping faces of people, and a work that creates bubbles on which fragments of Japanese poetry float. The bubbles drift through the space and eventually disappear, creating an invisible wind and a sense of the times in the space.

Ryu Ika will present his latest work, inspired by forms of prayer rooted in various parts of the world, including the "Ovoo," a signpost in the faith of the Mongolian people. Visitors can tie a blue cloth, imbued with their wishes, to the artwork. As people's wishes accumulate, the artwork will gradually change its appearance throughout the exhibition period.

A performance that responds to the artwork and the audience. The timetable for the exhibition period has been released!
The performance program, directed by Mirai Moriyama, features Kanakity, QUICK | Takahiko Fukui, contact Gonzo, So Souen, Hara Saori, and Tomohito Wakui. They will develop performances using body, sound, and video, responding to the exhibited works, the space, and the audience present.
