To commemorate MYAF's 5th anniversary, we have published the art magazine "NODE," exploring the diverse "ROLES" of the people and work that support art.

To commemorate MYAF's 5th anniversary, we are publishing our original magazine "NODE" MYAF2026 ISSUE. It will be distributed free of charge to attendees at the venue.
This issue focuses on the "ROLES" of those involved with MYAF. It features real-life experiences and perspectives from artists, musicians, and festival staff, including Mirai Moriyama, presented with their authentic voices. Furthermore, it includes an essay by Ryota Katayose.
"There are jobs like this," "There are ways to get involved," "There are paths for artists like this." This book opens up possibilities for getting involved in art through the new roles and ways of involvement that emerge from MYAF.
To commemorate MYAF's 5th anniversary, the ART FLAG PROJECT supported by Graphic features Shuu Yonezawa, Ken Tanishiki, Koichiro Tada, Natsuki Takayama, and Ryo Ogata. | Bond Street

Release of "Research on Olfactive Display," a multiple-part work by Kan Izumi.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL, we will be releasing "Research on Olfactive Display" by Kan Izumi as an official multiple artwork.
This work is a multiple piece in which Izumi develops his approach to the sense of smell, which he had been exploring up to that point, after creating a piece for MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025 ART EXHIBITION "Ahead of the Rediscovery Stream," and translates the concept and viewing experience of the exhibited work into a form that can be enjoyed in everyday life.
How do people perceive the opposing states of "moisture" and "dryness" through their sense of smell? This question is explored through two scents and two forms: fragrance and incense. By soaking incense in fragrance, drying it, and burning it, visitors can experience the individual scents and the changes in sensation that arise when the two interact. We aim to open up this exploration in the exhibition space to everyday life, delivering an experience of perceiving the "invisible" through the sense of smell.
Sculptures that capture the "atmosphere" of the land, and a giant chimney where pizzas are baked. Outdoor works by Kaname Ueda and Koichiro Higashi are now on display! | Bond Street/Boardwalk

The exhibition will feature Kaname Ueda's "Air," which won the Grand Prize in the outdoor artwork competition "PUBLIC ART NOW," and Koichiro Higashi's "Pizza Oven Chimney," which received a MYAF Special Prize. "Air" is a work that captures the relationship between people and between people and the land by blowing the air of the land into a metal box. The distortion of the landscape reflected in the mirror surface makes you feel the presence of the invisible "air." "Pizza Oven Chimney" is a work that reinterprets a large chimney built as a measure against smoke pollution at the Hitachi Mine into a sculpture where people gather through fire and food. Pizza will also be served on October 10th and 11th. The rising heat, smoke, and aroma of baking will create encounters and conversations around the artwork.
Michiko Tsuda collaborates with New Balance to hold the ART&RUN EVENT "and run: The Edge of the Land, A New Balance, Tennozu"!
