[Urgent decision!] Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group x Tetsuya Komuro will appear at the talk session on October 10th!

It has been announced that a special talk session will be held between Chim↑Pom from Smappa! Group and Tetsuya Komuro, artists who are exhibiting at MYAF 2025's art exhibition "Ahead of the Rediscovery Stream." The session will be held on Friday, October 10th, the first day of the festival, from 6:45pm. It will be held in the form of a public recording of the MEET YOUR ART program on a special stage within the MYAF2025 venue, with Moriyama Mirai serving as MC and Koike Ai serving as navigator. (Note: It is currently undecided whether the session will be archived.)

Additionally, prior to the release of their first collaborative work, "SUN," comments have been received from Ellie (Chim↑Pom from Smappa!Group) and Tetsuya Komuro.

About the collaborative work "SUN" by Chim↑Pom from Smappa! Group and Tetsuya Komuro Komuro

This exhibition will see the group Chim↑Pom from Smappa! Group present their first collaborative work with leading Japanese musician Tetsuya Komuro, with whom they have had a long-standing relationship. Based on the theme of "The Primordial Birth of Life," the group will present a performance-based installation, incorporating text written by member Ellie based on her own experience of childbirth, and incorporating the majestic sounds of Tetsuya Komuro 's composition.
Performances are also scheduled to be held every day.
