At MYAF2025, next-generation creators from Art Brain Company, a comprehensive technical production company that has been involved in spatial design and experience creation with a focus on lighting, sound, and streaming for nearly 50 years since its founding, will collaborate with PARADE design firm, a creative design firm that has captivated the world with the success of the Japan Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 and Expo Dubai 2020, to create a special spatial design.

This collaboration takes as its starting point this year's festival theme, "Rediscovery of the sensibilities, values, diverse cultures and aesthetics that live in Japan," and, under the keyword "In Praise of Shadows," inherits the Japanese sensibility expressed in Junichiro Tanizaki's "In Praise of Shadows," while reinterpreting it from a modern perspective. A fantastical spatial presentation of light and shadow will unfold from the festival's main entrance to the boardwalk along the canal. As visitors walk along the canal, they will be able to experience lighting effects created by the contrast between light and shadow, as well as interactive devices that make their own shadows appear in the space, and the light installation that spreads along the canal will become a symbolic MARK that encapsulates the festival.
In addition to the lighting production, Art Brain Company will also be responsible for the lighting, sound, and video equipment and technical aspects of art exhibitions, live performances, talk session stages, and more, providing strong support for expanding the expression and creativity of the artists participating in MYAF2025.
Experience the fantastical space created by the collaboration of two of Japan's leading companies in a special location along the Tennozu Canal.
