The project "Connecting Everyday Life with Harmony," held on the second floor of B&C ALL as part of the art fair "MEET YOUR ARTISTS," will reinterpret modern aesthetics from the perspectives of a variety of artists, including history, folklore, nature, and spirituality.

Co-directed by Kentaro Watanabe, the exhibition will introduce works by 14 artists who engage with crafts, handicrafts, memory and inheritance. The aim is to create a space where the materials and expressions of each artist quietly affect the senses of the viewer, resonating with the "prayers" and "questions" that lie hidden in the everyday.

Featured artists: Hiroshi Hasegawa, Shota Matsui, ALL ER KAMI, Shinichi Kaneko, Hideji Terada, Genta Ishizuka, Yoshiko Masumoto, Narushi Hirao, Aiko Tezuka, Junki Fujimoto, Toko Shinoda, Saki Maeda, Yuji Danjo

In addition, there will be a special exhibition of swords by contemporary swordsmith Kawashima Kazushiro (Bizen Osafune), which will be held in conjunction with this project. You can see the swords he creates at his own training center in Bizen Osafune, Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture, a holy land for Japanese swords.

Inscription on the front: Made by Osafune resident Masaki. Back: Hanamitsuki, 2006. Cooperation: Setouchi City.
