DJ and producer. Formed m-flo with VERBAL and LISA in 1998.
As a solo artist, he has produced and remixed works for domestic and international artists such as Calvin Harris, Hikaru Utada, BE:FIRST, NEWS, Snow Man, Da-iCE, Crystal Kay, and eill. He also supervises soundtracks for various fields including the anime "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt," the drama and film "Nobunaga Concerto," and the game "Lord of Vermillion III." In 2010, he released "Incoming..." "TAKU Remix" reached number one on the annual D&B chart on beatport, the world's largest dance music distribution site. With this song, he won the 'beatport MUSIC AWARDS 2011 TOP TRACKS,' a list of past winners such as Underworld, Fatboy Slim, and Justice, becoming the first Japanese artist to achieve this remarkable feat and proving that he is recognized worldwide in both name and reality.
Through his DJ activities both in Japan and abroad, he gained overwhelming support in the club scene, ranking first in the domestic division of LOUD's "DJ50/50" ranking for three consecutive years, and joined the ranks of TOP DJs as a leading force in Japan. In 2011, he launched Japan's first internet radio dedicated to dance music, "block.fm," which became the starting point for a new music movement.
