Born in Tokyo on November 27, 1958. Musician. Music producer, lyricist, composer, arranger, keyboardist, synthesizer programmer, and mixing engineer. In 1983, he formed TMNETWORK with Takashi Utsunomiya and Naoto Kine, and debuted in 1984 with 'Friday Lion.'
As the leader of the unit, he blossomed his musical talent early on. Since then, as a producer, he has worked with a wide range of artists, and to date, he has produced over 1,600 songs. He is a rare hit maker, with total single sales ranking TOP 5 in all categories of lyrics, composition, and arrangement in Japan, and over 20 songs achieving million-seller status.
■ Rintaro Fushe
Artist. Since the release of smartphones, he has been working on paintings, video works, websites, exhibition curation, and publication, starting with poems and texts he created himself, to restore 'loneliness' and 'being alone' in cities.
Major activities include the curated exhibition "Amazing Fingers: Picture Planes in the Finger Maker Era" (2026/W ALL_alternative), the project "Pavilion Zero" (2025 / Kasai Rinkai Park, Cosmo Planetarium Shibuya, etc.), solo exhibition "New Corpses" (2022 / PARCO Museum Tokyo), curation exhibition "Planet Samza" (2022 / Odaka Bookbinding Industry Site), and the exhibition "Isolated Intimate Contact Room" (2020), which uses web pages accessible only individually (2020). This performance is a visual epic where Tetsuya Komuro 's music and Rintaro Fuse's visuals intersect. Komuro, who has updated romance, urban, and linguistic sensibilities through cutting-edge technology from each era, is regarded as a "living archive," and AI-generated live-action footage is overwritten to reflect post-climate change Tokyo. Amid tropical nights, heavy rain, thick fog, and warm seas, the sounds of the 1990s are recreated as a different future. The visuals reflecting memories like the sea in the sci-fi film and novel "Solaris," combined with the "fluctuations" that arise between machines and humans, connect the music to a new "now."
