Figurine artist Kaito Ayaki reinterprets Japan's long-established culture of decorative objects for modern living. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese ornaments that have been cherished as souvenirs and objects of prayer during annual events, she creates palm-sized works that blend seamlessly into contemporary living spaces. Her work includes the "Sma Inu" series, which expresses wishes for the happiness of dogs, as well as a variety of other animal-themed ornaments.
