Garage is an architectural group composed of members who specialize in the fields of architecture, film, and theater. They consider architecture as "a process of ever-changing events," and practice design activities that encompass not only space but also time. They think about architecture while traversing various scales of time, including the daily use of architecture, the life cycle of buildings, and the history rooted in the land. In order to extend these architectural expressions, he also engages in activities such as video, theater, festivals, and fieldwork.
Recent major activities include the "100 Year Theater Project" and "Kikaijima Architectural Fieldwork" on Kikaijima Island in the Amami Islands, "Narrative Intersection" in Tomioka Town, Fukushima Prefecture, Ayaka Nakama's "Odoriba Densetsu" cenography at KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2023, the screening of architecture-themed films at Architecture Film Festival "Architecture Cinema 2023" at KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2023, and renovation of old private houses and modern architecture such as "Shabi-ya Share House" at the base Hyogo in Toyooka, Japan.

Garage - An architectural collective founded in 2020 by architect Hayao Odagiri, filmmaker Kenji Seo, and scenographer Mizuho Watanabe.
Garage expands the embodiment of time and the human body expressed with in architecture through works and projects utilizing videos, festivals, and fieldwork. Without being limited to architecture itself, Garage practices cross-disciplinary designs for architecture and the environment surrounding it.
