Born Hyogo in 1984, she began studying various genres of dance at the age of 5 and made her stage debut at the age of 15. In 2013, she spent a year in Israel as a cultural envoy for the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Based in Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, they perform in various European countries.
In pursuit of "physical expression that arises from relational values," he is active across disciplines both domestically and internationally.
As an actor, he has won numerous film awards. He will be performing the opening solo at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. He will be founding and running Artist in Residence KOBE (AiRK) in Kobe City from 2022. He is a post-butoh dancer.
Recent works include the performance "STILL LIFE" (24-26, choreography by Alan Lucien Øyen, co-choreography and performance), "Sanbutaro Festival" (24, Forest Art Festival, Okayama, planning and composition, performance), the exhibition "1995⇄2025 Our 30th Years" (24-25, collaboration with Umeda Tetsuya, Hyogo Museum of Art), the dance performance "The Magic Flute" (24-25, choreography by Kasai Akira), and the Kyukaku Ushio performance "Connecting Wonderful Coincidences" (Setouchi Triennale 2025, composition, choreography and performance).
The play in which he is appearing, "Chi. - About the Movement of the Earth," has been running since October 8, 2025.
