  • ART FAIR - CROSSOVER
Using ceramics and terracotta as his primary materials, he aims to create sculptures that move between opposing values such as substance and surface, consciousness and unconsciousness, and persona and anima.
Using the classic and universal motif of the human body, I explore the expression of the contradictions and discrepancies that we inevitably face in living as human beings.
By incorporating distortions and misalignments into the space and mass of my work, I aim to impart ambiguity and indecision to sculpture, a medium with a strong sense of existence.
By having the viewer wander around the precariously rising sculpture, searching for the front, the work is intended to encourage reflection on the disconnect between the act of "being" and the act of "seeing."
