He paints dreamlike characters and spaces that emerge from memory, myth, multicultural elements and personal stories, and treats art as therapy for the soul.
He has held two solo exhibitions (MaidenLand in 2014 and #BORDERLAND in 2018) and has received several art awards in Thailand, including the prestigious Silpa Birathri Gold Award.
(Waranyou Changpradit) (born 1988, Songkhla) is a Thai artist based in Nakhon Pathom. A graduate of Silpakorn University, his pain tings depict imaginative characters and dreamlike spaces formed from fragmented memories, mythology, multicultural influences, and personal storytelling. His work explores art as a form of mental therapy. Ngpradit has held two solo exhibitions—MaidenLand (2014) and #BORDERLAND (2018)—and received several national art awards, including the prestigious Shilpa Bhirasri Gold Medal.
