Born in Tokyo in 1990. Incorporating new technologies such as AI, he creates works that explore themes of nostalgia, pop culture, and collective memory. His works have been exhibited in museums and galleries in over 20 countries around the world, including M+ (Hong Kong), Saatchi Gallery (London), Grand Palais Immersif (Paris), Franciscan Carolinum Museum (Linz), and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. In 2023, he will participate in a collaborative auction between Christie's and Gucci, and in 2024, he will also exhibit in a charity auction organized by Christie's and UNHCR. In 2025, he was selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
He has been photographing street fashion in Harajuku since his high school days, and has exhibited his work at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London) and other venues. Through his experiences with photography and fashion, he explores the impact that mass media has on individual and social Identity.
He also serves as the founder and lead singer of the musical group Satellite Young, which reinterprets 1980s J-POP from a modern sci-fi perspective, and has performed at international events such as SXSW.
He incorporates AI and digital technology into his creative process, positioning them as collaborative partners, to create works that reconsider modern society through a dialogue between the past and the present.
