Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1984. Artist.
He combines ready-made products incorporating cutting-edge technology, power units, scrap products, and existing information systems in the form of misuse, diversion, and hacking, and presents his works in the form of two, three-dimensional, installation, and performance. It examines the politics and privilege that are unconsciously concealed by technology. He received the New Face Award (2012) at the 15th Japan Media Arts Festival Art Division and the Excellence Award (2018) at the 21st Festival. TERRADA ART AWARD 2023 Finalist Yuki Terase Award. Traveled to the U.S. for 6 months as part of the ACC New York Fellowship (2023). Recent major exhibitions include "MOT Annual 2023" (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Tokyo, 2023), "Roppongi Crossing 2022: Coming and Going!" (Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, 2022), "Someone Far Away" (SCARTS, Sapporo, 2021), "DOMANI: Tomorrow Exhibition" (The National Art Center, Tokyo, 2018), and Aichi Triennale 2016 (Aichi museums). In addition, he has collaborated with many other fields, such as performance works with contact gonzo and theatrical works presented by Wada Naka.
