Born in Kyoto in 1994. Currently based in Kyoto. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts with a major in sculpture in 2018.
Interested in the natural beauty and weight of stone, he creates mainly three-dimensional works that incorporate unprocessed stone into his work.
Recently, he has been developing wall hanging pieces to promote the appreciation of stones indoors. In his creations, he is conscious of how the stones in his pieces will look, just like Suiseki, which are used to appreciate stones, and uses modern materials (resin, glass, etc.) to appreciate stones from a new angle, in contrast to the traditional and formal Suiseki. As the weight of the stone increases, it becomes more difficult to support it, and the difficulty of creating the work increases, so he determines the price of his works by the weight of the stone, referring to the stone money and weight-based currency of Yap Island.
