He primarily creates "weak sculptures" by layering paint and brushwork onto the surface of human sculptures, imbuing them with traces of an attempt to actively explore and confirm the existence of objects in a painterly manner. Since 2020, he has also been working on the "Coastline Museum Project," creating new landscapes by painting on the seawalls along the coast of Ogatsu-cho, Ishinomaki City, bringing new artistic experiences to the post-earthquake landscape.
