芹澤美咲

Born in Saitama Prefecture in 2002. In order to live "oneself" honestly in contemporary society, she continues to draw daily using faces while contemplating the self and existence, becoming self-aware, analyzing what is expressed, sharing it with others, and attempting to promote awareness and acceptance of emotions and existence. / Selected for the FACE Exhibition 2022 and 2023. Selected for the 18th World Painting Grand Prize. Selected for the 2025 Geidai Art Plaza Art Award. Received the IAG AWARDS 2025 Namura Taiseido Award. Graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University, Faculty of Education, Secondary Education Teacher Training Course, Fine Arts Major. Currently enrolled in the Master's Program in Painting, Mural Painting Research Field, Second Laboratory, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Her major exhibitions include the solo exhibition "How to Remember Myself" (2022/haco -art brewing gallery-/Tokyo), "words to sea" Koya + kop × Misaki Serizawa (2023/KOGANEI ART SPOT Chateau 2F/Tokyo), "Sun, Technique, and Hands Accumulated to Shape Light" (2025/REIJINSHA ALL /Tokyo), and the self-organized group exhibition "Open the Window and See the Urajiro" (2024/gallery TOWED/Tokyo).
